Marina Veiler is a recent graduate of University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She completed her DMA in Piano Performance under the guidance of the outstanding American pianist Lydia Artymiw in December 2010. She also holds Artist Diploma and Masters Degree from the Toradze Piano Studio at the Indiana University. Native of Estonia, she came to study to United States right after completing her Bachelors at the Estonian Music Academy in 2002.

Marina Veiler has been performing extensively as a soloist and chamber musician in Russia, Estonia, Latvia and United States. She was a recipient of numerous awards and scholarships such as an Outstanding Estonian Student Abroad Scholarship and Martin Scholarship (Indiana University). In 2009 she and her husband (viola/violin) established Orlov-Veiler Duo and they have been performing in various styles of music - classical, jazz, ethnic and contemporary. Marina Veiler is also actively composing music for the duo. In May 2011 her compositions were aired on Minneapolis-St. Paul KFAi radio.  Her recent engagements include the Orlov-Veiler Duo performance in the World Music Series in Minneapolis and collaboration with Canadian violinist Ilana Waniuk at the Northern Illinois University.

Marina Veiler is a passionate music educator. She started teaching in 1993 and since then she has been teaching piano to students of various ages and levels. She has developed individual approach helping each student to become a creative well-rounded musician. She was a faculty at the Indiana University South Bend (2006-2007) and an assistant instructor during her studies at the University of Minnesota (2007-2010). She has been teaching a variety of classes including class piano, individual piano lessons, keyboard harmony and ear-training.
