NMS Concerto Class
The New Music School Concerto Class aims to equip students with the knowledge and skill sets to perform a concerto live with an orchestra. After a series of classes, and a rehearsal with orchestra, students will perform with the SEEN Chamber Orchestra.
* Note: All students are eligible to play with the SEEN Chamber Orchestra pending approval by the conductor after their rehearsal.

Join us in showcasing fifteen students from the New Music School Concerto Class with live orchestra. Our Concerto Class students have been working very hard on their pieces since May of this year! They have performed in masterclasses and learned from special guests Marta Aznavoorian, David Taylor (Assistant Concert Master of the CSO), Scott Ramsay, Jeffrey Panko, Clarissa Bevilacqua, and Zarin Mehta.

Active NMS private or chamber music students, are invited to apply to be a part of the NMS Concerto Class. Students must apply to be selected to participate in this extraordinary learning experience. Sixteen students will be accepted. Those who are not selected to be the sixteen students can elect to audit and attend the course.
Participation
This class is the perfect opportunity for young musicians who have limited opportunities to play with an orchestra and are wanting to take their performance to the next level.
Concerto Repertoire Requirement
Only repertoire from the Classical Era (Beethoven 4th and 5th Piano Concerto and Violin Concerto excluded) and before will be considered for this class. If you would like to get approval for a concerto outside these parameters, please email elizabeth@newmusicschool.com.

Group B: Sunday, June 11, 4-6pm
Class 5: The Final Step - Meet the conductor and gain insight from them with the SEEN Chamber Orchestra during rehearsal

Applications
Up to 16 students will be selected to participate in this amazing learning experience.
Students will be split into two groups (A & B) to keep a small class size for classes 2, 3, and 4.
